Day - 1 : Paro Airport - Thimphu Tour

Representatives of Suryadoy Travel will receive from the airport. After that we will drive to Thimphu. On the way visit TachogangLhakhang. TachogangLhakhang, ‘temple of the hill of the excellent horse’, rises in austere surroundings on the left bank of the river. This private temple was founded by the Tibetan saint, ThangtongGyelpo (1385-1464), while he was meditating here, ThangtongGyelpo had a vision of the excellent horse Balaha-an emanation of Avoloketeshvaras. He decided thereupon to build a temple at this spot in addition to one of his famous iron bridges (later carried away by floods in 1969). Evening leisure in the Town. Overnight in Thimphu Hotel

Morning after breakfast day starts with Thimphu local tour. Visit Buddha Dordenma Statue, ChangangkhaLhakhang, Folk Heritage Museum,Takin Preserve, Memorial Chorten, TashichhoeDzong, Evening rest at hotel in Thimphu.

Day - 3 : Thimphu - Punakha Tour

After Breakfast drive to Punakha. On the way visit DrukWangyalLhakhang as well as 108stupas. The DrukWangyalLhakhang, a temple in Dochula, offers an interesting example of traditional Buddhist culture meeting the 21st century. The Queen Mother AshiDorjiWangmoWangchuck completed construction of this temple in 2008, in commemoration of Bhutanese causalities in the 2003 conflict with Assamese Militants. After refreshment at Dochula Pass Resort (tea & snack) you will continue your journey to Punakha. Punakha has been inextricably linked to some of the most momentous events in the Bhutanese history and deserves its reputation as one of the most beautiful and significant regions at the heart of Bhutanese culture. Punakha had served as the capital of Bhutan from 1637 till 1907 and the 1st National Assembly was held here. Enroute stop and take a short hike to Chime Lhakhang. Chime Lhakhang is a small 15th Century temple famous for its fertility endowments or rites due to the blessings of Lam DrukpaKuenley. The temple sits on a hillock shaped, as only DrukpaKuenley could describe it “like a woman‟s breast”. You will have lunch at Lobesa Village. After lunch we will visit PunakhaDzong. Overnight in Punakha Hotel.

Day - 4 : Excursion - Phobjikha Valley

After breakfast, drive from Punakha to Phobjikha valley. Driving through the dense forests of the Phobjikha Valley you arrive at Gantey village where you see the Gangtey Monastery and visit the monastery. Phobjikha valley is part of the beautiful JigmeSingyeWangchuck National Park (formerly known as Black Mountains National Park), one of Bhutan’s most important nature sanctuaries. Each winter it is home to a flock of 300 rare and endangered black-necked cranes. The surrounding hills and mountains are home to nomadic shepherds and yak-herders. This is one of the most remote and untouched regions in Bhutan and is only just opening its doors to the outside world. After lunch at Phobjikha valley and explore the valley and also visit the Black Necked Crane Center. After that we will drive back to Punakha. Night stay at Punakha Hotel.

Day - 5 : Punakha - Paro Tour

After breakfast we will drive back to Paro. On the way you can also stop at Royal Botanical Park, Lampelri for a short period of time. After that we will drive to Paro we will stop at the river side of Parochu were we will take photo graphs. On arrival Paro we will visit the following places - National Museum, Visit ParoDzong -This is also known as the “fortress of the heap of jewels”, Visit KyichuLhakhang. Overnight in Paro Hotel.

Day - 6 : Paro - Hike to the Tiger’s Nest

After morning breakfast we will drive to a point where a hike to a Taktshang monastery starts. Then we will start our hike towards taktshang monastery - Hike to the Tiger’s Nest. Evening back to hotel Paro for night stay. Note: For a person who is not able to hike to Tatksang, horse services are there but needs to pay horse charges by clients.

Day - 7 : Paro Airport - Departure

After breakfast, we will drive to Paro International Airport for your onward flight. Our guide and driver will bid you farewell here at the airport. We wish you a very safe and pleasant flight for your onward destinations.Tour Ends with us.
